• a base design fee of $20, with increases depending on the complexity of the customisation.

to give you an idea of what to expect in terms of cost vs simplicity, something like the double happiness print would go for $150, the watercolour lesbian print would be $250, while something like the double phoenix print would be around $550.

great question. it would be best to know your goals and if you prefer realism or to develop a personal art style. if you are interested in realism, i'd recommend the draw a box series. if you'd like to develop a personal style, you should build up a gallery of art styles you enjoy, see if there are similarities/patterns in the things you like, and slowly try the styles you've collected in order of difficulty (easiest first!). i'll likely write a tutorial on how to plan this sort of thing out and i'll link it here when i do. if you have specific questions, you're welcome to email me at hello@rainbaomart.com 💕

rainbao is the "rain" from "rainbow" and the "bao" from "hong bao". bao means "bundle" or "package" in mandarin, so you could take it to mean "a bundle of rain(bows)". bao can also mean "precious/treasure", which i think certainly applies to the lgbtq+ community💗
